Overview
An immersive, fact-led room in Fohenagh, Co. Galway. Visitors fly over the landscape of Uí Mhaine as it changes through the centuries, from ringforts and eskers to the 1351 Christmas feast, Kilconnell Friary, Knockdoe and Aughrim, and on to today. The aim is awe and reverence, not pomp, with this place seen in its European context.

FúinnAbout
PA Uí Mhaine is a project by Garry Lohan (mechanical engineer and lecturer · Google Scholar · LinkedIn), about the medieval Gaelic kingdom of Uí Mhaine in east Galway and south Roscommon: its kings, poets, learned families and places. It is a sister site of PA Marine, PA Réalt and PA Iomáint (HurlingWiki).
This is an independent, working-draft heritage prototype, not an official product of any heritage body. Territory outlines are approximate interpretations, every claim names its source, and open questions are listed in the research backlog. Many sites are on private farmland: they are shown only as approximate areas, so view them from the public road and respect the monuments.
